ImageFIRST Observes Patient Experience Week

Here at ImageFIRST, our goal is to be much more than just another provider of patient gowns and nurses uniforms in NH and the rest of New England. Our goal is to provide exceptionally made healthcare linen and apparel that, combined with our processes and services, results in a cost-effective solution for greater patient satisfaction.

As a company wholly devoted to improving the patient experience, we were happy to join other healthcare professionals in celebrating Patient Experience (PX) Week. This recognition week, which is led by The Beryl Institute, is held annually to encourage healthcare organizations to observe accomplishments, reenergize efforts, and commemorate those who work hard to impact the patient experience. This year’s PX Week was held from Monday, April 24, 2017, to Friday, April 28, 2017, and was one in which several ImageFIRST locations across the country choose to celebrate.

How ImageFIRST Celebrated

While each location celebrated the occasion in its own ways, our Corporate Office discussed PX Week’s purpose and the patients their associates impact every week during a monthly luncheon. Associates were also urged to think about how what they do directly affects their clients’ patients. They read some patients experiences of our Comfort Care gowns, and colored the “I am the patient experience” page provided on The Beryl Institute’s website.

Ultimately, we here at ImageFIRST know that PX Week is an exceptional way to show our associates that we not only appreciate their hard work, but that their efforts are what will continue making them and the company remarkable. After all, our associates are at the heart of our purpose – and the key to helping out our customers and their patients.
